Gardenia Pandan Kelapa Loaf Review
I am starting this blog to write about my life and my thoughts about everything, mainly reviews on food because what is life without food now that we are all cooped up at home!
It is also because I actually prefer proper blog reviews compared to those shopee reviews or Instagram posts giving their reviews because I prefer to read more into a product although it can be just an egg tart haha. Need to spend money where it's worth! And Instagram posts...with all the sponsors I am not sure if what the influencers say are true because they are paid to do it? But I promise to be honest if I ever get any sponsors hahahahah. Now definitely honest la I don't have anyone sponsoring me HAHAHA *hint hint. I think too far right! First blog post already think about sponsors...
Anyway, I shall start with the most basic thing that everyone I know eat... BREAD!
Uhm ok sorry this is not a good photo of the bread but I was not intending to be a food blogger mind you. I took this photo to show off to my family and friends that I finally managed to get hold of this bread😂
Ok so where I got it from: PANDAMART hahahahahhaha. You don't even have to travel out your house and look at all the grocery shops! It is available on pandamart for Rm4.70! I saw people selling for RM5.40 on shopee so not worth ok they are trying to rip you off! If you go to speedmart I think they are selling it for RM4.50 only! So don't be so silly and buy from shopee ok because I almost did! Too desperate because I love pandan. And gula melaka. And coconut.
So if you can deduce from what I said earlier, I LOVE the bread ❤️ How can anyone not like pandan or gula melaka or coconut?! The fragrance of pandan is strong enough, with bits of gula melaka inside. And when you were eating it you can actually bite and taste the dessicated coconut. Which makes it so much nicer than normal bread hahahah.
I also tried toasting it and I do agree that it's nicer after being toasted! The fragrance came out more, with the slightly charred fragrant complementing the pandan taste really well.
The complaint I have on it is that it's very small 🥲 I ate 2 slices and I did not feel full. My husband ate 3 slices and could continue eating 3 more if I didn't stop him. So it's pretty pricey considering that it's such a small loaf! We only had the 2 of us eating and we finished them in 2 days.
Ok so here's another photo which is an advertisement photo hahahah to show you a better look of the bread
HAHAHAHA I am totally not professional but yea buy it! It's only rm4.70 anyway!! (Such an enabler hahahahhah)
Because of this review, I will buy when Singapore has it 😘
